From the Field Guide

Website updates

Changes to how this guide publishes, organizes, and presents its information.

The Field Guide refresh is underway

We have started a wider design and layout refresh. The Codex is gaining more recovered game assets, textured models, animation previews, and a shared workspace language across the guide.

  • Textured 3D models, outfits, creatures, and NPCs are expanding the Codex. A few poses and animation previews still look odd while we correct the recovered data.
  • NPC profiles, trade links, and monster drops now connect more of the guide’s records, so creatures, items, and vendors can be explored from either direction.
  • The Builder still needs further calculation and systems verification before its results can be treated as final.
  • An interactive map and a simulator are both in active development, alongside the remaining layout work.

News and updates now lead the Field Guide

The home page now opens with verified game changes and Field Guide releases, while the full build evidence stays in a permanent archive.

  • A news-first home page for game and website posts.
  • Clear labels separate game updates from Field Guide releases.
  • Permanent links lead to every verified build comparison.

No added or removed records, map-point, item-placement, acquisition, or trait-tree layout changes were detected. The installed Portuguese, German, and Spanish localization files did not change, so some new text still falls back to English. The developer announcement confirms the intended Call To Arms and Swiftstride behavior and documents code-level fixes that the installed package and text comparison could not expose. Foreseen Decay's installed text says 15%, while the announcement says its double-attack chance uses the lower of Ability and Magic; both are retained here until the client text is reconciled. Dark Beam remains an installed-description observation only. GameAssembly and IL2CPP metadata changed, but the prior binaries were not retained for a code comparison.
